my journey to find right skin care and treat my acne

Hello guys, it's my first time to blogging here. so I'm really sorry if my writing was really messed up and terrible, but trust me I'll try my best.
so, first of all let me introduce myself. My name is Kia, yes you can call me Kia. this time I write this article I still in college, in master degree of biology field.
in this article I wanna share to you about my experience with acne and how I deal with it. it happened for about 5 years ago, whenever I start my first degree in my college, and it absolutely terrible acne I've ever had. I don't have any picture of my face with acne because it really past years ago, wether I'm too ashamed to take a picture of my face or the picture of it has gone. I think the causes of my acne was I've mistaken to take a right skin care for me. yeah, literally I'm too young and that's my first experience to start skin care so I try so many skin care product and it makes my skin start to breakouts.

and how I treat my acne so it has gone? the first time I realize that my face became breakout and more breakout whenever I try new skin care product, I decided to STOP it. yeah, I stop to wear any skin care product I bought in drug store and many things place undescribeable and I go to the doctor. in 6 months my skin getting relieved, but it's not totally gone. the acne scar left me so many dark spots, and my face looks dirty, and my acne sometimes appear again even it's not as bad as before. 2 years I wear doctor's product and it doesn't give a shit.  So I moved to beauty clinic to erased my dark spot and brightening my face. yes my skin became brighter, and lighter. all of my friends ask me where I'm about to buy my skin care product. 2 years I wear that product, but the dark spots won't fade away. it's not because the product doesn't working, but because whenever some acnes fade out, the new generation of acnes was appeared, and it happen over and over again. so my face couldn't stop creating new dark spots. at the beginning I don't give a shit about it, because I felt my skin was so much better even the acne still came out but not many as before. it just occassionally happen before my period comes and I think it's normal.
I had been used beauty clinic product for several years, until the day I felt my skin became abnormal, I felt my skin so itchy, and became too oily when I wear moisturizer. I feel confuse about my skin condition, I don't know why. until I read some articles that said so many chemical compounds that normally added in beautiful product but it actually dangerous for your skin 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 I shocked. there's a list of them.
1. Phtalate
2. Lead
3. Quaternium
4. PEG Compounds
5. Butylated compounds (BHT, BHA)
6. Parabens
7. p-phenylediamine
8. carbon black
9. siloxanes
the list was not belong to me, if you want another explanation, you can visit https://foodrevolution.org/blog/toxic-chemicals-makeup/ and of course there's so many toxic compound that literally added to beauty product that were not listed in that web, like ethanol, phenoxyethanolalamine, amoniac, etc.

you know what guys? after all, I instantly read my skin care ingredients, and because it belong to beauty clinic, it doesn't mention what compound was contained on their product. it freak me out, wondering what kind of chemical compounds in it. even it says it doesn't contain any dangerous chemical like mercury and rhodamin, but Hello? those chemical compounds I describe above wasn't mention dangerous to skin but it can cause several breakouts for skin especially in long term usage.
again, I decided to change my skin care products, and looking for natural and healthy skin care. I know that beauty products sold in store can't be totally free from chemical compounds due to its long term storage, but at least I can choose the product which used limited chemical compounds.
after day by day I busy in comparing beautiful product along with waiting my transition skin condition, I realize that korean products contain a small amount of chemical compounds. I don't know, but so many korean beauty products ads said that those beauty products were free from 5-10 dangerous compounds like paraben, ethanol, phtalates, perfume, etc. it makes me curious to try their products.

during my transition times, my skin breakouts came out again, my skin getting darker, dull, and so many acnes appear and it left me so many dark spot even worse. the first korean makeup I wear is etude house products, due to their commitments into natural composition that I interested in, compared to another korean brands. the products I have been used were:
1. bb cream cotton fit spf 30, I used it at day to conceal my dark spot and its spf can be used for sunblock as well. this product surprise me because my skin would always became breakout after wearing any kinds of foundation, but this product was the exception. the texture was so light, and it can tone my skin up. maybe because it was bb cream, so it's not as heavy as fondation. but I ever tried maybelline bb cream and it break me out.

2. wonder pore freshner, a toner that used after all cleansing tretments. to clean up the dirt that cannot be washed by only soap and milkcleanser. I will describe about how important toner for your skin (I've never used toner before) and how amazing this toner did for my skin in my next article.

3. baking powder pure cleansing foam. this is the second most expensive cleanser I ever used, and still it become the best cleaser I ever used. I read the composition of mostly drug store cleanser, they still contained sls compound. while this baking powder wasn't. there's three series of this baking powder clenser, the bb cream deep cleanser, the moist foam and the usual one. but I rather wear the usual one instead of bb cream deep series. because the bb cream deep cleansing series was too harsh for my skin, and it dried my skin. furthermore, the usual one can still cleaned up my face greatly. I never try to used the moist foam, maybe someday I'll try it and make a review about it.

4. lip and eye remover, since I decided to wear bb cream, I guess I need oil cleanser to get rid them off. I'm afraid those acnes will getting worse. but it dissappointing me because it still contained paraben in it. so I don't repurchase this product, and will not use it again.

5.moistfull white cream Etude House, was a skin care I used as night cream to replace the beauty clinic product. it hydrated my skin so well, and brightened my skin tone. it can't make my skin fairer, but at least it can fix my dull face. furthermore, it doesn't make my breakout skin even worse.

that's all my skin care product I ever used in several years ago to get rid my acnes. those pictures don't belong to me, because right now I don't use those product. not because those products are bad, but because I looking for better skin care 😊😊😊😊😊 I use laneige products at this time. I'll make a review about it in my next article.
at this time my skin condition getting better and better, even if I wearing makeup, thanksGod. and Thank's for reading, wait for my next articles ^^
